Meet Heather Pallotta

Heather Pallotta has been avidly drawing and painting as her main means of expression her whole life. While she has a large body of work in oil on oversized canvas, currently she is working in mixed media on smaller canvas and paper.

The most signature aspect of her work is drawn from life and very whimsical. She prefers to work with models and capture fleeting expressive glimpses of life and many themes read as narrative in a grown up fairytale.

Heather has been largely self taught. Also very inspired by her main guidance, teacher Peter Hirstoff of School of Visual Arts, NYC under whom she has studied for many years.

Heather has been working as an artist in the decorative and fine arts since 1999 and resides with her family in Morris County New Jersey. Originals are available by commission and reproductions are available of her current collections.
